Last week, we received a new preemie baby named Hua. The orphanage had this sweet baby in the incubator in the orphanage, because they learned how very expensive his formula and treatment would be in the hospital. Because we have received $1200 in donations, we asked if the orphanage would move him to Anhui Children's Hospital immediately, where we knew that he would get the best care.
On Saturday, during a heavy snowstorm, the orphanage transported this tiny baby from his rural town to Hefei. They are so grateful that this child will now be able to get the care that he needs. We believe that we will still need an additional $1800 for his intensive care treatment, but we are so very grateful that he was able to be moved so quickly.
